How to make wax seals with glue gun flexible sealing wax?

When it comes to making the perfect DIY wax seal - the tools you are using to make them are key!

Here's what you'll need:

One custom wax seal stamp (or several if you are working with multiple designs)

Glue gun sealing wax sticks

Sealing wax gun (or low-temp glue gun)

Ice (or an ice pack)

Once you have all of your materials ready, it's time to dive in!

Step 1. Chill your wax seal on an ice pack, or with ice.

Step 2. Heat up your glue gun sealing wax stick in your sealing wax gun (or standard low-temp glue gun) and squeeze a small circle of wax onto your surface.

Step 3. Wipe the die with your hand or a microfiber cloth, then press your wax seal into the wax. Let the wax cool for a short time (10-15 seconds), then gently peel the wax seal away.

Quick Tip: Is your wax seal sticking to the wax? Try cooling your seal on ice again! A sticky seal means your brass die is too warm!
